Welcome to Finding Adam Finding Eve! These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the websites, mobile applications, online coaching services, assessment tools, in-person events, educational programs, and community features (collectively, the "Services") provided by FINDING LLC, a Missouri S-Corporation doing business as Finding Adam Finding Eve ("FAFE," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and the following related policies, each of which is incorporated herein by reference:

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Services.

1. Services Provided

FAFE provides faith-based relationship formation and coaching services, including but not limited to educational content, assessments, coaching, community support, and in-person programs designed to help individuals navigate relationships in accordance with Catholic values and principles. Our Services include:

a. Game of Love Platform — Young Adult Edition (Ages 18+)

An integrated suite of interactive tools and assessments accessible at GameOf.Love, including:

MATRIX Assessment: Temperament, love language, and attachment style evaluation.
Know Thyself: Deeper self-discovery and values clarification tools.
Ready for Love: Discernment tools to assess dating readiness.
GIFT Couples Assessment: Pre-engagement assessment for couples, with PDF export for counselors.
My Story Profile: Comprehensive personal history to enrich coaching interactions.
GROW Learning Platform: Daily formation questions and content.
Love Acts Tracker: Gamified virtue tracking.
Virtual Relationship Coach: AI-powered insights chat drawing from verified Catholic teaching. See our AI Transparency Policy.
Sunday Group Date: In-person community-building events coordinated through the app.
Gamification Features: Hearts, XP, badges, and streaks.

b. Game of Love Platform — Before Forever Edition (Ages 14–19)

An age-appropriate edition of the Game of Love platform for use within the Before Forever program, available only through participating Catholic schools and parishes. This edition:

Contains no dating, matching, or social networking features
Uses school-managed or parish-managed accounts
Does not collect personally identifiable information (PII) from teen participants
Is governed by the Before Forever Program Policy

c. Coaching and Formation Services

Personalized coaching, group sessions, and educational resources focused on relationship development, personal growth, human formation, healing, and faith-based guidance rooted in Catholic teaching. Including:

Virtual Insights Chat (AI-assisted, available 24/7)
Message a Coach (asynchronous messaging with a human coach)
Group Coach Sessions (live, small-group format)
1:1 Coaching Sessions (private sessions by appointment)
GIFT Couples Coaching (pre-engagement formation for couples)

d. Before Forever Program (Ages 14–19)

An 8-module Catholic formation curriculum for high school students, delivered through Catholic schools and parishes. See our Before Forever Program Policy and Section 7 of these Terms for program-specific provisions.

e. In-Person Events

Workshops, retreats, Sunday Group Dates, faith-based mixers, and other gatherings organized by FAFE or its partners. See Section 8 of these Terms.

f. Educational Content and Resources

Access to teachings based on Catholic doctrine, Theology of the Body, and human formation principles via FindingAdamFindingEve.com, the FAFE blog, newsletters, and digital products.

g. Digital Products

Downloadable guides, workbooks, devotionals, and other digital resources available through Gumroad and other platforms.

These Services are provided for personal development, spiritual formation, and educational purposes and do not constitute professional mental health therapy, clinical counseling, or medical advice.

2. Eligibility

a. General Services (Ages 18+)

You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Game of Love young adult platform, coaching services, community features, and general Services. By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you:

Meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms;
Are seeking to use our Services for personal, non-commercial purposes;
Understand that our Services are rooted in Catholic faith and biblical principles;
Acknowledge that our coaching and formation services are faith-based and may not be suitable for individuals who do not share these religious beliefs.

b. Before Forever Program (Ages 14–19)

Students ages 14–19 may access the Before Forever edition of our Services only through enrollment by a participating Catholic school or parish. Individual teens cannot create accounts directly with FAFE. Parents and guardians cannot create teen accounts directly — enrollment must go through the institution.

The participating institution is responsible for:

Obtaining any required parental or guardian consent
Managing student access and accounts
Ensuring compliance with their own institutional policies and applicable laws

c. Institutional Users

If you are using the Services on behalf of a school, parish, diocese, or other organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms and any applicable program-specific policies.

3. Your Account

To access certain features of the Services, including coaching programs and the Game of Love platform, you must create an account. You agree to:

Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration;
Keep your account information updated;
Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials;
Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.

Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account or experience any harassment or misconduct through the Services.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not:

Post, upload, or share content that is unlawful, harmful, defamatory, obscene, discriminatory, or otherwise objectionable;
Engage in any activity that interferes with or disrupts the Services, including introducing viruses, malicious code, or engaging in spamming or phishing attempts;
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Services, including other users' accounts, assessment results, or private communications;
Use the Services to harass, abuse, stalk, or harm others, or to solicit or promote commercial activities unrelated to the Services;
Impersonate any person or entity, misrepresent your identity, or provide false information;
Copy, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract source code from any of our web applications or the Game of Love platform;
Use automated systems or software to extract data from the Services without our prior written consent;
Misuse assessment results or quiz outcomes for purposes other than personal development and growth;
Use the Services to contact or interact with minors for any purpose outside of sanctioned Before Forever program activities;
Distribute, reproduce, or adapt Before Forever curriculum materials without written authorization from FAFE.

We reserve the right to remove any content or suspend/terminate your access to the Services for violations of these Terms or for any reported harassment or misconduct, at our sole discretion.

5. Game of Love Platform — Specific Terms

5.1 General Provisions

The Game of Love platform provides integrated assessment tools, formation content, and interactive features designed to support your personal, relational, and spiritual development. By using this platform, you acknowledge and agree that:

Results and assessments are for informational and educational purposes only;
No assessment or tool can guarantee relationship success or predict future outcomes;
Results should be considered as one factor among many in your personal development journey;
You are responsible for how you interpret and apply assessment results;
We recommend discussing significant decisions with qualified professionals, including licensed counselors, therapists, or clergy.

5.2 MATRIX Assessment

The MATRIX Assessment evaluates your temperament, love language, and attachment style. You acknowledge that:

The assessment is based on your self-reported responses;
Results are intended to support self-knowledge and growth, not to label or limit you;
The assessment is not a psychological evaluation and does not replace professional assessment.

5.3 Know Thyself and Ready for Love Assessments

These self-discovery and readiness assessments provide insights into your values, relational patterns, and dating readiness. You acknowledge that:

Results are general in nature and may not fully capture individual complexity;
Results are educational tools, not psychological evaluations;
You should not rely solely on assessment results for important life decisions.

5.4 GIFT Couples Assessment

The GIFT Couples Assessment is designed for pre-engagement discernment. You acknowledge that:

Both partners must consent to participate;
Results are shared between both partners and the assigned coach (if applicable);
Either partner may withdraw consent at any time, which may limit the assessment's usefulness;
The assessment evaluates alignment in values, faith, and goals but does not predict relationship success;
Results may be exported as PDF for use with a counselor or spiritual director of your choosing.

5.5 Virtual Relationship Coach (AI-Powered)

The Game of Love platform includes an AI-powered Virtual Insights Chat. You acknowledge that:

The Virtual Insights Chat uses artificial intelligence to provide formation-focused responses;
AI responses draw from a database of verified Catholic teaching passages;
AI-generated insights are supplementary and do not constitute professional advice;
You have the right to request interaction with a human coach instead of AI at any time;

5.6 Data Collection and Use

The Game of Love platform collects information you provide during assessments and interactions. This information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Assessment results may be:

Saved to your account for future reference and progress tracking;
Used in aggregate (anonymized) form to improve our Services;
Shared with your coach (if enrolled in coaching services), unless you opt out;
Retained according to the data retention schedule in our Privacy Policy.

6. Coaching Service Terms

6.1 Nature of Services

Our coaching and formation services are rooted in Catholic faith and biblical principles. Our coaches provide guidance, support, and education based on Catholic teaching and Sacred Tradition, Scripture and the Magisterium, Theology of the Body and authentic anthropology, relationship principles and communication skills, personal development and self-awareness, and faith-based approaches to relationships, dating, and marriage discernment.

6.2 Not Professional Therapy or Medical Advice

IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: Our coaching services are NOT:

Licensed mental health therapy or clinical counseling;
Medical advice or treatment;
Legal advice;
A substitute for professional mental health care, medical care, or legal counsel.

If you are experiencing mental health concerns, trauma, abuse, suicidal thoughts, or require professional therapeutic intervention, we strongly encourage you to seek help from a licensed mental health professional, call the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline (call or text 988), or contact emergency services (911).

6.3 Coaching Agreement Required

Before participating in any coaching services beyond the Virtual Insights Chat, you must review and accept our Coaching Agreement, which governs the coaching relationship, confidentiality, session policies, and liability.

6.4 AI-Assisted Coaching

Our coaching ecosystem includes AI-assisted components. Specifically:

Virtual Insights Chat (Level 0): Fully AI-powered, available 24/7, clearly identified as AI.
Message a Coach, Group Sessions, and 1:1 Sessions (Levels 1–3): Human coaches may use AI tools to assist in preparation, but all direct coaching interactions at these levels are human-delivered.

6.5 Religious Nature of Services

Our Services are explicitly Catholic in nature. We approach relationships, personal development, and spiritual formation through the lens of Catholic teaching and Sacred Scripture. By using our Services, you acknowledge that:

Our guidance and coaching are based on religious beliefs and principles;
We may reference Scripture, prayer, the Sacraments, and Catholic teaching;
Our Services may not be suitable for individuals who do not share Catholic beliefs;
We respect your right to discontinue Services at any time if they do not align with your beliefs or needs.

6.6 No Guarantees of Results

We do not guarantee any specific outcomes from our coaching services, including but not limited to finding a romantic partner, achieving relationship success, resolving conflicts, personal transformation, or spiritual growth. Results depend on numerous factors, including your commitment, openness to grace, circumstances, and factors beyond our control.

6.7 Confidentiality and Mandatory Reporting

We respect your privacy and maintain confidentiality in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Coaching Agreement. However, confidentiality has limits. We may be required or permitted to disclose information if:

You provide written consent;
We have reasonable belief that you pose a danger to yourself or others;
We become aware of abuse or neglect of a minor, elderly person, or dependent adult;
We are legally required to do so by court order or applicable law.

7. Before Forever Program Terms

7.1 Program Overview

The Before Forever program is an 8-module Catholic formation curriculum for high school students ages 14–19, delivered through Catholic schools and parishes. It is available in two tracks:

School Track: 16-session semester curriculum (45–50 minutes each)
Youth Ministry Track: 8 standalone workshops (60–90 minutes each)

7.2 Institutional Licensing

Schools, parishes, and dioceses access the Before Forever program through a licensing agreement with FAFE. Licensing includes curriculum materials, facilitator training, and access to the Before Forever edition of the Game of Love app.

7.3 Facilitator Requirements

All individuals who facilitate Before Forever sessions must meet the following requirements before leading any session:

Safe Environment Training: Completion of their diocese's approved safe environment program (e.g., Virtus Protecting God's Children, or the equivalent program required by their diocese). Proof of completion must be provided to FAFE or the licensing institution.
Background Check: A criminal background check completed through FAFE's designated provider or the diocese's approved provider, with results on file before any interaction with students.
FAFE Facilitator Training: Completion of the FAFE Facilitator Training program (minimum 4 hours).
Practicing Catholic: Must be a practicing Catholic in good standing with a recommendation from their pastor.
Two-Deep Leadership: At least two trained, background-checked adults must be present at all Before Forever sessions involving minors.

7.4 Content Usage Restrictions

Before Forever curriculum materials, including instructor guides, participant notes, presentation slides, and app content, are proprietary to FAFE and are provided under license. Institutions may not:

Modify, adapt, or create derivative works from the curriculum without written consent from FAFE;
Redistribute curriculum materials to non-licensed institutions;
Use curriculum materials outside the scope of the licensing agreement.

7.5 Minor Protections

All Before Forever activities must comply with the protections outlined in our Before Forever Program Policy and the Privacy Policy, including:

No collection of PII from teen participants by FAFE
School-managed or parish-managed accounts only
No dating, matching, or social networking features
Mandatory reporting obligations for all facilitators
Written parental consent required for photography of minors

7.6 COPPA Compliance

FAFE does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The Before Forever program has a minimum participant age of 14. For complete COPPA compliance details, see our Privacy Policy Section 11 and Before Forever Program Policy.

8. In-Person Event Terms

8.1 Event Participation

By registering for or attending any FAFE in-person event (workshops, retreats, Sunday Group Dates, faith-based mixers, conferences, or other gatherings), you agree to the following:

Behavioral Standards: You will conduct yourself respectfully and in accordance with Catholic values. Harassment, discrimination, intoxication, or disruptive behavior may result in removal from the event without refund.
Assumption of Risk: You voluntarily assume all risks associated with event participation, including but not limited to risks associated with travel, physical activities, interpersonal interactions, and venue conditions.
Health and Safety: You are responsible for informing event organizers of any medical conditions, allergies, or accessibility needs that may affect your participation.

8.2 Media Release

By attending FAFE events, you acknowledge that events may be photographed and/or recorded for ministry purposes, including use on FAFE websites, social media, marketing materials, and educational content. If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded, you must notify the event organizer at the time of registration or at check-in.

For events involving minors (ages 14–17), written parental or guardian consent for photography and recording is required prior to the event. The default for minors is no photography unless written consent is on file.

8.3 Event Cancellation and Refunds

FAFE reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or modify events due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., weather, venue issues, insufficient enrollment).
If FAFE cancels an event, registered participants will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to a future event.
Participant-initiated cancellations and refunds are subject to the cancellation policy communicated at the time of registration.

8.4 Venue Safety

FAFE selects event venues with reasonable care for participant safety. However, FAFE does not own or control event venues and is not responsible for venue conditions, acts of other attendees, or circumstances beyond our control.

9. Content Governance

9.1 AI-Assisted Content

FAFE uses AI as a tool in creating some educational content, including blog articles, social media content, workshop materials, and digital resources. All AI-assisted content is:

Reviewed and edited by our human content team before publication;
Grounded in Catholic teaching, including the Catechism of the Catholic Church (CCC), Theology of the Body, Sacred Scripture, and Magisterial documents;
Verified for theological accuracy using our Catholic teaching citation database;
Clearly identified as AI-assisted when required by applicable law or platform policy.

9.2 Not Professional Advice

All FAFE content — including blog articles, workshop materials, assessment results, coaching insights, and digital products — is provided for educational, formative, and spiritual purposes. It does not constitute:

Professional mental health, medical, or legal advice;
A substitute for the Sacraments, spiritual direction, or pastoral counseling;
Guaranteed outcomes for any relationship or personal situation.

Users should consult qualified licensed professionals for clinical, medical, or legal needs.

9.3 Catholic Teaching References

FAFE content references Catholic teaching from verified sources, including the Catechism of the Catholic Church, Theology of the Body, Sacred Scripture, Papal Encyclicals, and other Magisterial documents. All citations are verified through our Catholic teaching database and are never fabricated. However, FAFE content represents our interpretation and application of these teachings and does not carry Magisterial authority.

10. User Content

The Services allow you to submit, post, or upload content, such as text, images, assessment responses, quiz answers, reflections, or messages ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content, but by submitting it, you grant FAFE a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable license to use, reproduce, distribute, modify, and display your User Content in connection with operating, improving, and promoting the Services and our ministry.

You represent and warrant that:

You have the necessary rights to grant this license;
Your User Content does not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws;
Your User Content does not contain false or misleading information that could harm others;
Your User Content complies with community standards of respect and authenticity.

11. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, logos, and materials available through the Services (excluding User Content), including the design and functionality of our websites, the Game of Love platform, assessment tools, coaching materials, Before Forever curriculum, and proprietary methodologies, are the property of FINDING LLC or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not:

Reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without our prior written consent;
Use our trademarks, logos, or branding without authorization;
Copy or reverse engineer the Game of Love platform or any of our proprietary tools;
Extract, scrape, or harvest data from our Services using automated means.

12. SMS Messaging

By providing your mobile phone number and opting in to receive SMS messages from FAFE, you consent to receive text messages related to the Services, including promotional messages, account updates, service notifications, coaching reminders, and assessment notifications. These messages may be sent using automated technology.

Opt-In: You may opt in to SMS messaging during account registration or via other designated methods. Opting in is not a condition of using the Services.
Message Frequency and Costs: Message frequency may vary. Standard message and data rates may apply, as determined by your mobile carrier.
Opt-Out: You may opt out at any time by replying "STOP" to any message or contacting [email protected]. After opting out, you may still receive non-promotional messages related to account security or transactional updates, if permitted by law.
Support: For help, reply "HELP" to any message or email [email protected].

Your personal information, including your phone number, will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. You represent that you are the account holder or have authorization to use the phone number provided. SMS messaging is available only to users 18 and older.

13. Privacy

Your use of the Services is governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review it to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information, including assessment data, quiz responses, coaching communications, and event registration data.

14. Accessibility

FAFE is committed to making our Services accessible to all users. For details on our accessibility standards, known limitations, and how to request accommodations, see our Accessibility Statement.

15. Third-Party Links and Services

The Services may contain links to third-party websites or services (e.g., payment processors, resource materials, or recommended service providers) that are not owned or controlled by FAFE. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of these third parties. Your interactions with them are at your own risk.

16. Payment and Refund Policy

16.1 Fees

Certain Services require payment, including:

Assessments: Pay-per-assessment pricing (e.g., MATRIX, Know Thyself, Ready for Love, GIFT Couples Assessment) as listed on the platform at the time of purchase.
Coaching Credits: Purchased in packs and redeemed for coaching services at posted rates.
Before Forever Licensing: Institutional licensing fees as agreed in the licensing agreement.
Digital Products: One-time purchase pricing as listed on Gumroad or other platforms.
Event Registration: Fees as listed at the time of registration.

All fees are stated in U.S. dollars.

16.2 Payment Methods

We accept payment via Stripe, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Gumroad. You authorize the applicable payment processor to charge your designated payment method. You are responsible for ensuring your payment information is current and accurate. We do not store your full payment card details — this is handled by our payment processors.

16.3 Refunds

Refund policies vary by service and will be clearly communicated at the time of purchase. Generally:

Assessment fees are non-refundable after results have been delivered;
Unused coaching credits may be refunded within 30 days of purchase;
Before Forever licensing fees are governed by the institutional licensing agreement;
Digital product purchases are non-refundable due to immediate delivery of digital content;
Event registration refunds are subject to the cancellation policy communicated at registration;
Requests for refunds should be directed to [email protected] and will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

17. Termination

17.1 Termination by FAFE

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in inappropriate conduct, misused the platform or assessment tools, or failed to pay required fees.

17.2 Termination by You

You may discontinue using the Services at any time by contacting your coach (if enrolled), emailing [email protected], or closing your account through account settings.

17.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

Your rights to use the Services will cease;
Your access to the Game of Love platform, saved assessment results, and My Story profile may be revoked;
You remain liable for any outstanding fees or obligations;
Your data will be handled in accordance with the retention schedule in our Privacy Policy;
Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive (Intellectual Property, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, Governing Law) will survive termination.

18. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICES, INCLUDING ALL COACHING SERVICES, THE GAME OF LOVE PLATFORM, ASSESSMENT TOOLS, BEFORE FOREVER PROGRAM MATERIALS, DIGITAL PRODUCTS, AND AI-ASSISTED FEATURES, ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

FAFE DOES NOT GUARANTEE THAT:

The Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure;
Any coaching, assessments, or content will meet your expectations or produce specific results;
Assessment results will be accurate, complete, or applicable to your specific circumstances;
AI-assisted features will provide error-free or complete responses;
The platform will be free from bugs, errors, or technical issues;
The Services will lead to any particular relationship outcome or personal transformation.

YOU ASSUME ALL RISK ASSOCIATED WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES AND ANY DECISIONS YOU MAKE BASED ON COACHING GUIDANCE, ASSESSMENT RESULTS, AI-GENERATED INSIGHTS, OR CONTENT.

19. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FINDING LLC, ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, COACHES, FACILITATORS, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM:

Your use of or inability to use the Services;
Any coaching guidance, advice, or recommendations provided;
Assessment results or interpretation thereof;
AI-generated insights or content;
In-person event participation, including interactions with other attendees;
Technical issues, errors, or malfunctions of the platform;
Decisions you make based on the Services;
Interactions with other users or third parties;
Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF $100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO FAFE IN THE SIX (6) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or liabilities, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

20. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless FINDING LLC and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, coaches, facilitators, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:

Your use of the Services;
Your User Content;
Your interactions with other users or third parties;
Your participation in in-person events;
Your violation of these Terms or any applicable law;
Decisions you make based on coaching guidance, assessment results, AI-generated insights, or content;
Any misrepresentation you make regarding your identity, background, or intentions.

21. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the Services, legal requirements, or business practices. We will notify you of material changes by:

Posting the updated Terms on our websites with a revised "Last Updated" date;
Sending notification through the Services or via email;
Providing notice through the Game of Love platform.

Your continued use of the Services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

22. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

22.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

22.2 Arbitration

Any disputes, claims, or controversies arising from or relating to these Terms or the Services (including coaching services, the Game of Love platform, Before Forever program, in-person events, or assessment tools) will be resolved through binding arbitration in Kansas City, Missouri, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

22.3 Exceptions to Arbitration
