Before Forever
Youth Ministry
Parish Workshop Modules
The same Before Forever content, re-packaged as self-contained workshops that youth ministers can deploy flexibly — one evening, a retreat day, or a full-year series.
The Challenge
Most Catholic teens don't attend Catholic schools
The school-based curriculum assumes semester-length commitments and dedicated class periods that parish youth ministers don't have. Teens in youth ministry show up on Sunday evenings or Wednesday nights, often with inconsistent attendance, in mixed-age groups, for 60–90 minutes at a time.
The Youth Ministry Track delivers the same theological depth in a format designed for how parish ministry actually works.
How it works
Self-contained modules
Each workshop stands alone. No prerequisite attendance required — teens can join any session.
60–90 minute sessions
Scaled for the reality of parish youth ministry evenings and retreat schedules.
Youth-minister led
No theology degree required. The facilitator guide carries the content with clear direction.
Flexible deployment
Single workshop, a 4-week Lenten series, a retreat day, or a full-year curriculum — your choice.
Format Options
Single Workshop Pilot
A low-risk way to introduce Before Forever to your teens and leaders before committing to a fuller rollout.
4-Week Series
A focused sequence that works well for Lent, fall ministry kickoffs, or a short seasonal formation window.
Retreat Day
A stronger immersion format that groups multiple sessions into a dedicated day for deeper conversation and reflection.
Full-Year Rhythm
A longer arc that lets parish leaders spread sessions across the year and reinforce concepts over time.
Built for parish leaders
Youth ministers, DREs, and parish program directors — not school administrators. The outreach path, format, and support are designed for the parish context.
